Live in a Beautiful State

Choose to live in a beautiful state!

This is something that I learned from Tony Robbins. He talks about the most important decision that you can make is to choose to live in a beautiful state.

So what is a beautiful state?

This is the energy, attitude, and emotions that you are showing up with.

Energetically, it is having enough energy to live the life that you want. This will be different for each person.

Having an attitude where you are confident, optimistic, grateful, and resilient.

Having an emotional base that supports you. You want to experience a range of emotions. Create an emotional base where you are experiencing pleasant emotions such as love, joy, gratitude, excitement, contentment, courage, and compassion more often.

So how do you live in this beautiful state?

It is certainly a process and something that takes continuous work. Here are a few strategies.

  • Learn to work with your thoughts - Be intentional about choosing to think positive and empowering thoughts. Reframe thoughts that aren't serving you.

  • Use your body - By moving your body you can create energy and shift the state that you are in. Jumping, dancing, and making powerful movements that are associated with an emotion are all great ways to do this.

  • Process your emotions in a healthy way - Allow yourself to feel the emotion that you are experiencing. There is research that says that it only takes 90 seconds for your body to process it. Then allow yourself to release it and bring yourself back to the present moment.

  • Do the inner work - If you have limiting beliefs or shame/guilt/anger that you are holding onto then you need to work through these in a healthy way. Seeing a therapist is often an excellent way to approach this.

  • Be intentional about who you surround yourself with - Our work performance and well-being are affected by who we spend time with.

Remember that this is a process and show yourself grace when you aren't living in your ideal state.
